- Gina's
second book, Armed and Dangerous,
has been purchased for a film option. She is currently completing
her next two novels and working on a stage play.
- Gina has
recently been named to the Board of Directors of a federally
funded program called Cops &
Partners that addresses the problem of domestic
violence among police officers and their loved ones. This program
will provide protection for the spouses of police officers victimized
by domestic abuse by providing training, implementation of relevant
administrative policies within police agencies, public awareness
campaigns, victim empowerment strategies, consultation services
for legal advocates, and referral coordination for at-risk officers
seeking assistance. Currently, there is no known national organization
prioritizing advocacy for intimate police partners.
- Since moving
to the Left Coast, Gina has founded The
Idea Factory, an international authors' collective
that provides a clearinghouse of information, supports project
collaboration and implements the development of cutting-edge
writing projects in publishing, radio and all other facets of
the media. The Idea Factory is open to authors of all genres
- a thought oasis that serves up red-hot talent, cool concepts
